Set Up a Whitelist

1) Log in to the RDS console. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-1

2) On the cloud database management page, click the target instance ID or click Manage under the operation column on the right side of the target instance to open the instance's basic information page. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-2

3) In the left navigation bar, click Data Security. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-3

4) On the Whitelist Settings tab, click Create Whitelist. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-4

5) In the Create Whitelist Group dialog box, fill in the IP address or IP segment that needs to access the instance, and then click OK. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-5

Set Up Ssl Encryption

1) Log in to the RDS console. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-6

2) On the instance list page, locate the target instance.

3) Click the target instance ID or click Manage on the right side of the instance to open the basic information page. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-7

4) In the left navigation bar, click Preferences. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-8

SSL in the list of modifiable parameters, and click the icon in the run parameter value column. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-9

6) Modify the value of the parameter ssl to on, and wait for the system to enable SSL. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-10

Setting Up Transparent Data Encryption TDE

1) Log in to the RDS console. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-11

2) On the cloud database management page, click the target instance ID or click Manage under the operation column on the right side of the instance to open the basic information page. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-12

3) Click Data Security in the left navigation bar. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-13

4) Click the TDE tab. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-14

5) In the TDE area, turn on the TDE status switch. fg-dc-rds(sqlsever)-3.7-15
